A trailer for the Warriors Orochi 4 (Musou Orochi 3) gamerevealed on Friday that the game will launch for PC via Steam in Japan on October 16. The game will ship in Japan for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on September 27.
First-edition bonuses include special costumes for Xu Shu, Ishida Mitsunari, and Da Ji. The game's digital deluxe edition includes a digital version of the game, a season pass, and digital bonuses of three weapons, stock experience points, and arena points. The digital deluxe edition also includes the ability to play the as the Kyūbi character early.

The game's premium box edition includes the game, a full-color official artbook, a two-disc original soundtrack, and eight A4-size character clear files.
